DAVID CLARK

JEFF FISHER graduated from Willow Springs High School (Willow Springs, Missouri) in May, 1997. After high school Jeff attended Southwest Missouri State University-West Plains until May of 1999. That August Jeff meet Lori Elders in Springfield, Missouri, and they were married on June 29, 2002. In August of 2003, Jeff began studying at the Bible Institute of Missouri and graduated with the Alpha class in May of 2005. Jeff also graduated from Southern Christian University with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Jeff worked with the congregation in Versailles, MO until July of 2006. He now serves as a fill-in preacher, and he and Lori attend the Branson church of Christ. Both Jeff and Lori are employees of the Reeds Spring School District.

ANDY HEAVIN is a native of Springfield, Missouri. He attended the Kansas Expressway congregation in Springfield for most of his life with his faithful parents, Bill and Judy. He obeyed the gospel here in 1996. Andy is a 2001 graduate of Freed-Hardeman with a B.B.A. in accounting. He worked two years as a staff accountant for SRC Automotive before resigning his post to attend the Bible Institute of Missouri in 2003. Upon graduation in May of 2005, Andy married Stephanie Medley August 5, 2005, and shortly thereafter, they moved to Edgar Springs to begin work with the Lord’s church at that location. Andy has been with the Edgar Springs congregation since August 21, 2005. Andy says, “My time at the Bible Institute prepared me for the Lord’s work and gave me the confidence to preach and stand for the truth.”

JASON McCULLY grew up in Aurora, Missouri where he graduated High School in 2002. After living his teenage years away from God and after several months of working in a factory out of high school, he finally gave himself to God in prayer and study. He became very involved with working with his home congregation in Mount Vernon, Missouri. Soon afterward the Bible Institute of Missouri was planning on beginning their first class of students. After much prayer and encouragement from others, Jason decided to attend in the first class of students. He also began to work in youth ministry at the Mount Vernon church of Christ as he attended Bible school. Jason also had the opportunity to preach at many area churches while attending school. Once a month he preached at the Conway church of Christ, and shortly before graduation was offered the position as the evangelist for them. He accepted and has been working with the Conway church of Christ since August of 2005. Jason is thankful for the amount of time he was able to spend in listening to God, talking to God, and hearing others talk about God at the Bible Institute of Missouri. He wrote, "Attending the Bible Institute has truly helped me to 'let the word of Christ dwell in (me) you richly with all wisdom.' The relationships and examples of the men I attended with and learned from will always be with me."

ADAM ORR was born in Winfield, Kansas and graduated from high school in Mexico, Missouri. He attended Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) where he received a B.S. degree in General Business and Finance in May of 2003. In August of that year, he began his studies as part of the first class of the Bible Institute of Missouri. After completing his first year, he married his high school sweetheart, Julie (Detwiler), May 29, 2004. He says, “She has truly been a ‘helper’ in every sense of the word.”  He graduated from Bible Institute of Missouri the following May. Adam now preaches full-time for the Fordland church of Christ where he has been since June 11, 2005. Adam says of his opportunity to attend the school, “We were given the privilege of studying the Word of God six hours a day, five days a week. The school gave me the tools needed to be a more effective worker in the Kingdom of our Lord. I’m so thankful for those two years, and those who helped and gave me the support I needed!”

GERMAN (DONY) RODRIGUEZ and his wife, Linda, are working in Apipilulco, Guerrero, a small town in southern Mexico. They planted the congregation there with mostly children attending. They have Bible class for the kids several times each week. There are two Christians, brother Miguel and his wife Juana, who are driving an hour to come to the Sunday morning worship. On one Sunday, they had forty-three in attendance. Nine of them were adults. They have an old kindergarten building that they are working on to use as the church building. They would appreciate any prayers offered up to the Lord on their behalf.
